Santa Pod 1st July '03

Well i went yesterday and came back dissapointed. last time i ran a 13.9 @ 107 mph so this time with launch control was hoping to better my times.

first run i had set the launch rpm too low so the car didn't wheelspin but it did bog down

14.2 seconds. oh well you live and learn. laptop out a bit of key bashing reset the launch rpm to 3000 rpm. try again.

second run off the line much better a little wheelspin but not too bad went for second..............crunch. try again..............crunch. you will go in, slamed into gear rest of the run ok. time................14.6. oh well one run left. back to the pits more lap bashing right going for broke (maybe literally) boost set to 1.2bar

third run felt quick............................jumpstart no time :ffs: :censor: :ffs:

got home looked at the data log from the ecu.. looks like the crack in the turbo has got worse, boost never hit 1.0bar hence the lack of performance.

never mind i now have a stage 2 turbo that is going on this week also by the next event should have antilag.

some very quick cars there especialy the norris designs evo 7 this car ran 3 consecutive runs in a little over 10 seconds

damn you must have a fast car as your drag racing in the future ? its only 2nd June 03 on planet earth right now

still you knocked a whole 2 :) seconds of my basically stock 4age runs.... congrats :)
