I was under the impression that Bibb's was fitting a new turbo (which I think he already has) so his CT26 might come avalible??

Not sure what Turbo is needed for a Rev2, but there's a CT20 going on IMOC...

CT26 is the turbofor the Type I & II however with a small bit of modding the CT20B will fir and is indeed a better turbo.

CT26B and the CT20 (which is apparently a modded CT26).

The 26B on the Gen2 3s-gte and the 20 on the Gen3.

And all I'll have left over after my swap is the compessor side of a CT26B and the exhaust side of a CT26A.

I'll be combining the two to have a larger compressor and still retain the twin entry.

Damn....you have even managed to confuse me!! :P

I thought you had come across a SUPRA ct26?? IMO giving modded OEM turbo's names is a shocker.

So what OEM upgraded turbos do you have??

Cheers

I have a CT26A off a supra, and the CT26B on the MR2.

The A is single entry and bigger compressor.

So I'll be using the A spec compressor and the B spec twin entry exhaust housing.

which will do what exactly??.... :)

A stock CT26A on a Gen2 3sgte will produce more power than a stock Gen3 3sgte.

By using the twin entry you retain a decent spool time, unlike most aftermarked units.

And mine has been tweaked by Turbo Technics.
