What is it located in at the mo? Standard TS fascia?

Double Din Unit - FP-11-03, made by Audioleads, it says for a RAV4 but it will fit the Yaris - from Halfords

My radio is more like this but with a cd player seemingly built into the plastic in place of the tape deck:

Would I have to cut round the plastic or something to end up with the double din shape?

No

You can buy the fascia from Mr T Robie, its about £38

Then you need the audioleads Rav 4 adapter!

Alternatively if you want to be cheap you can install an aftermarket headunit in the coin box, just swap the coin box for the new stereo!!!
