Rear Sun Shade - Where Can I Get One?

The manual for my 2003 TX-3 shows how to use the rear sun shade on a hatchback. It pulls up from the rear seat area and clips into the top of the hatch. I don't have one fitted, but was wondering if this is a standard Toyota accessory or is it only available in other, sunnier countries.

Any ideas as to where I could get one?

I went to my Toyota dealer for one a few months ago - they said it didn't exist. If you find one please let me know!

I have a TSpirit and the sunshade is already fixed as standard so they do exist.

It is only standard in the T-Spirit.

I put one in my Carina a few years back from Halfords I think. Before that I put two small ones in the Corolla fairly easily.

What is it fixed TO if I may ask? If its the parcel shelf then the answer is to buy a T-spirit parcel shelf I would think!

It's part of the parcel shelf really. The roller is underneath and the shade comes up through a slit in the shelf. It hooks into a fastening point above the rear window.

My DIY Carina one was screwed through the shelf and I used a velcro strip to hold the shade up.

I jus tinted mine..... limo black on the back, dark smoke in the rear doors and light smoke on the front... totally changes the look of the car :D

Thanks for all your comments. Unless someone knows, I'll see how much a T-Spirit parcel shelf is. Bet it's best part of £100.

Hi

Rear parcel shelf and blind is £287.24 + VAT!! The parcel shelf has a slot in it and the blind comes through the slot according to the Toyota parts man.
