cheers everyone

yup, they're 17" RS GT's. white always seems to be a hard colour to photograph - it looks a bit flat there. must be the light. the best pic i've got of it is this one:

lol, know what you mean. mine's been ported, has a competition headgasket, JR induction kit (needs cleaning!) and blueflame exhaust. it surprises quite a few people (i.e. saxos :D :boxing: )

Hi JT, car lookin mighty fine  i'll have to try n clean mine up a little!

Was just wondering how you got on with the petrol filler pipe problem cos I am gettin petrol fumes seeping into the cockpit, n after lookin at the filler pipe it does seem a tad wet!

Did you get a new 1, n if so is it a pattern or dealer part?

ive still not sorted it :censor:

ive tried everywhere, but i can't find anyone who does a pattern version. ive asked waqar if the filler neck on the one he's breaking is ok, so i might get that (but ive not got my hopes up :P ). so it looks like ill just have to swallow the pill and hand over £90+ for a bit of pipe :ffs:

...And like I said before 90+ quid is bad enough, but believe it or not they have come down in price; for they were 150+ about 3 years ago!!! :ffs: :ffs: :ffs:

Yeah its in the letters section, and they dont seem to rate the AE82 as a classic/retro car yet??!! Damn them! haha

Glad you got some front bumper trims and rear mudflaps! Finishes it off! You had the o/s/r arch done yet m8??

lol, just bought it now. it's a good job you said, because i wouldn't have even known :P . and i dunno wot interior pic that is with it, but it ain't from ANJ! lol. and i dunno how they can question if its retro, when they've got a bigger feature on an AE92 later on, but hey, it's in there!

That's a TRD Badge on the boot. still can't make my mind up if it's staying

yep, got the arch done. it's got KYB shockers now as well (the ride's pretty harsh, but it handles very well :D ) oh, and some new track rod ends. and i've just bought a new petrol filler neck for it, as it's leaking. i'll have to have a look at one of the rear calipers soon as well, as the handbrake's only working on one. erm.. oh, the clutch master cylinder went a couple of months back, so thats been changed. apart from all that and an oil and filter change, its pretty much as you left it. oh, i got the exhaust done finally as well

Hey is current issue of retro cars doing articles on 4AGE Engined Corollas?

Don't know if i'll buy it though if they say AE82 GT is not a classic/retro car, thats not fair. Most AE82 GT's are around 20ish or more year old now, yet they have other cars in there mag which are newer  !

nah, there's no proper feature. mine's a couple of pages in, in the news bit in a box with the heading "Looking forward to seeing...". then its got some small pics and the spec.

then later on, there's a bigger feature on a black AE92 in readers cars bit. yet they don't question its "retro" credentials

there's also a datsun 120Y with a silvia turbo engine fitted, which actually looks prettyy smart - never thought id say that about one of them :P
