Maybe more of a general comment rather than 4x4, but as it's on a Rav I'll post it here! Tried to remove a wheel from my 54 reg Rav 4 on Sunday - fitted the locking wheel nut remover and tried to turn it, but it was solid. Had to step on the wheel brace and presto, it mashed the loocking nut and remover key, so now I have 5 wheels that I can't remove from the car! No idea how the dealer plans to get them off the car now, but at least they say it's under warranty, as it was Toyota that fitted them, not me! I think I'll put some anti-seize on the next set so they don't get so tight in the future. Anyone else had this problem? My Lexus had a better version with 3 holes - that worked much better but fopr some reason they've changed it to this crappy version instead :(

Any garage will be able to remove them. They have a tool that cuts into the nuts, that they use on a compressor.

Interesting - mine is the same 3 pin design as I had on the Lex - when they replace them ask if you can have that type instead - mines a Granite 04 - maybe the TTE wheel's need different nuts - don't think so though ...
