No Spark?

Corolla 1.6 CD N-reg 5 door. Car will crank but plugs will not spark. There is 12v to the ignitor. The LT & HT sides, cap and leads all check out OK. Have tried both keys (as supplied with car) just in case the chip in the key is not registering with car security systems - but still no success? have tried to access the self diagnostics codes with a short between E1 & TE1 (on the engine bay test connector), but no "check engine" display on the dash (except the usual ignition lights).

Any ideas please :(

have you tried king lead?is there voltige from coil,have you tried more that 1 plug?? :D worth a try

give this a go, might work

Take out one ht lead(i.e number 1 cylinder lead) remove the spark plug, put the spark plug back into the ht lead, and then place the ht lead and spark plug against the engine block, turn the ignition, if theres a sparks theres no problem, do this to all the spark plugs, hope this helps...it did when i had the same problem, turned out to be a dodgy ht lead
