Tte Lowering Springs

I went to my Toyota dealer today to order some TTE 30mm lowering springs for my Tsport but he told me that he couldn’t order them because they weren’t covered by Toyota GB’s warranty. Nor was he allowed to order from TTE directly. So my question is how did those of you who have TTE springs get them? Did you get them TTE or is my Toyota dealer lying to me? :help:

Thanks in advance for your help.

i never knew you could fit tte springs to a t-sport under warrenty. I wish toyota would say these things. A section on their site with every little accessary would be nice.

Lowering springs are even mentioned as an option in the Yaris brochure!

nothing you fit to the car automatically voids your warranty.

should you have a failure on a part of your car, and the Toyota dealer can prove it failed as a result of your modification - then they can refuse to fix it under warranty.

So - should you have a failure in the suspension system somewhere after lowering the car (with TTE springs or not) - the dealer could refuse to repair it under warranty if he can prove the lowering kit was responsible for the failure.

If he cannot prove it - or the failure is in an area not related to your modification - your warranty will still stand.

the full toyota part No. for TTE lowering spring for a TS is PZ439-B0721-00 if you give them the part No. AM28848 off the TTE website all you will get is blank look and "eehhh NO, thats not a Toyota Part", hope this is a little help and good luck

Chris, thats just like MR T saying you CANNOT fit an aftermarket headunit to a Yaris. Well several hundred of us have proved them wrong!

What a steaming pile!
