Location Of Plug

First of all, I LOVE my Toyota's, both of them. I own a 95 corolla (my wifes car) and a babied 98 Tacoma 4x4 extended cab. They run and run, and are both good on fuel and are extremely reliable.

My wife had the corolla backed into in a McDonalds parking lot. It did over 3500.00 worth of damage to the car, but the body shop fixed it as good as new, complete with new radiator, air conditioner compressor and a variety of other parts. If the damage would have been apparent, the car probably would have been totaled, as it had nearly 90k on it.

Here is the problem..... About 2 weeks after the repair the CEL came on, and stayed on. The vehicle runs as good as always, no decrease in mileage or anything. Last weekend, I put it up on jack stands to change the oil and noticed a sensor being unplugged coming off the manifold going to the cadaletic converter. Pardon the bad spelling, as I am a paramedic, carpenter, and an all around handyman, not a mechanic. The plug has about a 7'' wire on it. I looked all around the area in which the plug should simply plug in, but can not find the location. PLEASE HELP ME. I may not be totally mechanically inclined, but if instructed on a location, I am quite confident that I could simply plug in the sensor and reset the system.

Any assistance would be very appreciative....

How many wires go to it ?if there is 4 it could be for the oxygen sensor which can be located on the exhust infront of the cat ,If i new how many wires an wat shape the plug waz i could probably find out were it goes or if its used at all.

The plug is flat, two prong and two wires. It is clearly on the exhaust.....Only wish I could find the locatoin to plug it in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it is the plug im thinking of then it goes through a gromit in the floor and conect to the loom its located in around the tunel under the carpet of the divers seat
