I have to say it....

WHY OH WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP PUTTING THESE CRAP KITS ON MR2's.....

Sorry for shouting and rant over.... Yes the car can be made to look like a Ferrari but what is the point when you ruin the car's handling and performance in one massive hit, the kit kills the MR2 and is max muppet excuse to ruin an MR2, the kit's start at approx 7k sdo that's 12, fitting and spraying another 2-3k with all the extra's needed your in the same region as a cheap second hand ferrari in the first !Removed! place !!!

If you want a ferrari nuy a ferrari, if you want a decent car that your going to trash buy a NOVA and play with that....

As they say when the cap fits :)

Just my 2p of course :)

I'm guessing Rhaines ain't a fan of that kit!!! :P

and just to check I did a quick look on autotrader you can pick yourself up the real mcoy mot'ed and taed' for 12k.....

The MR2 had to meet the rich version of Max Muppet at some time I guess !

OK after some comments and pm's I'll moderate myself the previous post of mine should read something like...

Censored version:

:censor: :censor: :censor: ferrari kit :censor: :censor: :censor: MAX :censor: MUPPET :censor: :censor: :censor: Waste of time

Hi

I agree with Raines. Why by a MR2 when what you looking for is a Italian Job.

Have a look at this website. Perhaps Raines has seen this Site based in Liverpool. WWW.fastmr2.com.

Now they do specialise in MR2 and you will find a Body Kit that will turn Heads.

Let me now how you get on. E-mail wperham@farrel.com

See Ya

Haven't seen that page before but have seen the MRD kit, lovely stuff, not my favourite but in the flesh looks superb....

Ive seen the gt2 kit in person. its absolutly gorgeous.

What about the 2000GT body kit for the mr2, think its possibly called a widebody kit also think its made by trd. Smr2bck.jpgmr2frnt.jpg

Ive seen the 355 kits for 2999. im not really a fan either to be honest. The TRD wide arch kit is mad too. I have a MK2 MR2 Bomex front bumper for sale if anyones interested?

I have to say the 355 kit looks better than that wide body one!

The Bomex bumper tomaddo is selling would make a much better purchase.

I might be interested in the Bomex front depending o cost of course, which nose is it as there are a couple....

The "WideBoy" if done correctly beats the Ferrari kits honds down in my opinion as it is supposed ot be an MR2 and designed for it, if you've seen it in the flesh it truely is a beast :)

I still say the ferrari kit is max muppet but of course that is just my 2p.....

The Wide Boy is rocking horse :censor: if original, not cheap, but stunning, you'll see what I mean at JAE I'm sure :)

I have to agree with rhaines, I've seen the ferrari kit in the flesh, I think it looks naff and anybody with even a small amount of automotive knowledge can see it's as fake as they come. The MR2 is a great sports car and needs only a little done to it to make it greater

Hi

Trd widebody kit its the dogs :censor: :D :D :D

You mean the ones to help ruin the handling, reliabilty and durability of the car...

Yes they do :)

Here's a webpage with some photos of the F355 kit

http://hometown.aol.co.uk/curld7/myhomepage/auto.html

I think it looks fairly convincing, but what's the point of it, you'd be better of with any number of better body kits for the money?

let's have a look....

1) side view looks all out of proportion

2) Rear Light clusters don't fit properly

3) look at the size of the front light covers (they're massive)

4) Interesting Ferrari 4 fog light conversion

5) Can I vomit at the dash

6) bonnet doesn't close quite right (slightly higher on right side)

7) Funny place for a ferrari petrol cap

8) Spacing between wheel and arch is all wrong

9) The guy looks like a muppet (should have gone to specsavers)

And now taken from the forum, oh dear, oh dear....

"The cars T-top's which are made of glass have been colour coded yellow the same

has the car.

Real F355 18" rims have been fitted to the car, with modified spacers front and rear, to

take the Ferrari stud pattern"

What a :censor: muppet...

Oh did I miss something......
