I mentioned 'Dizzy' in my previous post...

I have atm... Yaz... Yaz is a 1.3l CDX (see avatar info :P) i have had her for 5+ years and we have had some great times... and most prolly will have more great times in the near future...

However.... my next step will not be a TSport... no... I dont have that bug... As lovely as the little Yaris is... my next shall not be one...

I am after a MR2 Roadster.... the mk3 MR2 has called to me... and her name is Dizzy... and she will be mine... (as soon as I have the means for funds.. *sigh.. and with work the way it is... aint likely its gonna be soon unless I inherit a load of ££ or I win the lottery)

Once I have the Dizz... then let the modding commence! :P

I Love my Yaris to bits! I'm afraid to park it on the road if someone nicks my space at work so i've started putting a cone in it to make sure its free when i come in!!

The only downside to that is i have students milling round my car all day... But at least my wing mirrors remain intact!!!!!

Yes I love them too much too - I co-own a Yaris Blue and a TS and have an unhealthy love for them

Everytime I look at my Yarii I smile - as daft as that is! I can't fault them, they're very nippy, cheap to run, cheap on insurance and are a decent size too.

The Blue sits on top of a public multi storey car park on the roof every day when I am at work, and I can see her from the window - everytime I can I have a look out the window to check she's still there

Was cleaning the Blue yesterday, and two of my Neighbours were saying "you have a well nice car etc etc etc"...altho maybe that was because they wanted me to clean their cars too - not quite sure which one is true lol.

If either of our Yarii got "hurt" I'd be well upset too.

I was madly in love with my 1litre. A great colour which shone up well and a clean little car. Photographed her from every angle and spent far too much money getting her valetted! The shine went off when a motorbike drove into the back of me. Sure, the bodyshop did a reasonable enough job but a few things weren't quite right and the relationship cooled. :crybaby:

Now I've got a new 1.3 and I can again worry about where I park her, what that new rattle is, etc. Going back to Mr T soon to have a few little things sorted (couple of marks on dashboard, a creak in passenger door and so on).

Keep rubbing little bits of dirt off the bonnet thinking it's my first stone chip!

Yes, you can love it too much!

okay the yaris isnt the best car in the world. but hey, who can afford a great car when you first start to drive. The yaris is a great to to start with.

im on my second yaris. i had a 1.0 litre. very quick for what it was. cheap to insure, cheap to run. what more do you want. i traded it in for an sr. what a great car. so much qiucker. i love my yaris. i think its great. i would love a t-sport, but cant afforf one. oh well. can only dream.

Yeah, I'm part of the "too much" club

I press the "lock" button about 5 times every time just to make sure its locked ...

I park at the far corners of supermarket car parks "just to make sure"...

I keep a book so that I can work out the fuel consumption...

I am fiercely defensive if someone even attempts to "diss" the Yaris...

Tonight I was on my way home and having witnessed two pieces of driving that could have resulted in serious accidents I thought "what would I get to replace this if it gets written-off too?" I couldn't think of a similar car that would replace it.

Yeah, waaaay too much

Yes have to agree i look out for her, watch where i park and who next to ;)

but to be honest i've been the same with all of the cars i've owned.

my main concern with my yari is how awfully thin the paint is  i've NEVER

had any of my other cars chip as badly as this,so no matter how much i look after her i cant stop her chipping :(

my yari is a good little car but there are alot of nice cars out there,

when its time to swap her i doubt if it will be for another yari...unless they bring the 1.8 turbo out :D

the Nissan s15 silva is very temping

I love my Yaris!! I really hate going to bed at nite because i know its sitting out in the street all alone (all together now Ahhhhh).

Its an obsession to me. Ive never had a car that ive said that i love but this is a car that i cant stay away from. It even take all my attention away from females.

Ive never spent as much money on anything in my life!! Also ive never had a car longer than 9 months because i usually get bored with them, but not this little beauty!!!

Yaris-You can love it toooooo much & i do :D

I have owned many cars over the years , but can honestly say that I have never got so "attached" to any of them as much as I have the Yaris.

I have always been enthusiastic about the cars I own, but the Yaris really stands out as "The Very Best"

I also find the atmosphere on TOC to be the friendliest owners club that I have ever belonged to :group-cuddles:

Yes I really "love It Too Much"

At least it makes you less likely to turn around while driving to look at some hottie in a skimpy outfit...!

I wonder if we are all attached to our Yarii because of the great community here as well?

I think it helps!

I mean I was a member of the Daewoo Matiz Owners Club before, but it wasnt a very big forum, so the community aspect was never there but with here we are all in the same mindset and theres loads of us!

TOC - its a disease, but a good one!:lol:
