I've been driving my 1.0L Automatic Vitz, and my dad loves the "automatic" part so much that he wants to sell his own to get one just like it~~

What are the comptetitors for the Yaris, in that same area? (Small Car, Small Engine, Automatic & doesn't consume much fuel) I don't know if I want him to have the same exact car as me :P

Mine does about 45-50mpg :)

Toyota iST, Nissan Micra,Toyota Duet to name a few. I'm sure other people could think of more though!

Honda Fit/Jazz, Daihatsu Naked, Toyota Porté, Suzuki Ignis...

There are probably 100 different cars that fit that category if you include all of the JDM only models.

Thing is, in the Yaris's price region, its the best one considering power, reliability, size(smaller = better in malta) and consumption :S

Finding it hard to find a competitor which is worthy :P

Right well seeing as you get a lot of imports from japan in malta (as we do here), the three best are the ones ive mentioned plus the honda fit (jazz) and the mazda 3 (I think it's the 3).

EDIT: It's the Mazda 2 (the new demio), not the 3

Yeah the 3 is the hatchback. I personally love that car, but its quite expensive as an import here. I really want something like that when I grow up hehe

ooh ok the 2 is another thing then ;)

Best are going to be the Yaris, Jazz, Micra and the 2. Personally i dislike the new style micra... sure it's cute, but i had one for a courtesy car and it was like a blanchmange. Not my cup of tea! The gearbox is very good though... my grandad's got the CVT micra and thinks it's best thing since sliced bread! Iv been in his too, and it is very smooth and refined.

The Japanese are insane.

Not only are there cars called "Fit" and "Naked" but Mazda makes a large passenger van called the Bongo Friendee. Isuzu made a small tilt bed lorry called the Giga Light Dump.

There are hundreds of cars with ridiculous names there, they are famous for it!

My own car is called bB for "Best Box"

Oh no, it's a real car alright.

I think they just got lazy when carving out the clay concept model

That pic isn't mine though, but mine looks just like that, only white instead of grey.

There is , frankly, no real competitor for the 1.0 Yaris/Vitz MMT (Auto)

I have owned or driven several of the small engined auto's and nothing can compare to the Yaris for build quality and reliability
