:censor: hers an update on the bodging bodyshop saga.i was promised all problems would be put right on wednesday <_< .

dropped car off wed. morning to have all mesh secured properly , wing mirrors sprayed, sideskirts repaired and resprayed, rear wing repaired and resprayed, bonnet air intake tidied and resprayed.

got there wed night to be greeted by the sight of a young lad with a large screwdriver! trying to stuff the front mesh grill between the two panels.obviously i was very pleased to see this unique approach NOT!!!!

the sum total of there remedial work was to keg all the mesh with fibreglass to hold it into place, and repair and respray 2 sideskirts.

i was then asked to bring it in today to have the wing mirrors sprayed.but he couldnt do the rear wing as it was still SETTLING???????? :censor: :censor:

DRASTIC MEASURES TIME

took the car to the garage at 6.30 this mornin took off the wing mirrors, took retaining screws out of the rear spoiler, pushed a note through the door.

parked the car right up to his roller shutter door blocking in the 5 cars he is working on engaged CAT 1 ALARM PUT STEERING LOCK ON AND TOOK THE KEYS WITH ME :D

very irate owner rang me at 9am askin where the keys were. I explained that he did not need to get any cars out of his garage,AS HIS PRIORITY WAS TO FINISH MY CAR.

WENT BACK AT 10.45 THIS MORNIN AND LO AND BEHOLD MY REAR SPOILER AND WING MIRRORS WERE ALL PREPPED FOR SPRAYING. SO I MOVED THE CAR!!!

goin 2 pick it up tonite better be finished or things may escalate to physical violence.

anyone in stoke on trent thinkin of avin a spray job,and wishing to avoid these cowboys! e mail me at paulcooper318@ntlworld.com

Glad you have finally got it sorted, must have been very stressful.

But as stated by me in the previous post it just doesn't supprise or shock me these days.

P.S. As a side line someone who I work with bought a wheel and tyre package from a local 'centre' the other day and came to show me. I commented how pleasant they looked and then ask if he had 'checked' the tightness yet (only been on 3 mile) ...two of the wheels nuts were had a couple that were very lose!

I know you are supposed to check nuts after having new wheels fitted (due to 'settling') but this was a bit naughty!
