I have just installed a new headunit into the car! (pioneer DEH-8400)i think!

My speaker cables run under the steering wheel (where the long storage bit is) and on the floor across the doors. The plastic bit that you step over to get in will pull off if you give it sum stick and you'll see a little channels with cables. (do you know the bit i mean - you get a skid plate on the TS - that bit)

no expert so wait for someelse!

I ran it under the cills in my last yaris but there didnt seem to much room under them and there was also the fuel line etc and didnt wanna play around to much under there!

Has anyone routed it under the carpets??

If i was to route it under the cills where have people gone from there?taken the side panels off?

oooh it might be rear wash but it looks to phat and was always clear, and screen wash is blue!

If you run it under the mats you will still be able to to bits and feel it!I want it completlt hidden away!

Just run it down the passenger side, under the plastic bits on the sill, plenty of room under there, I have 5 cables under there and it's fine, should be less trouble than running it under the carpet

I think it is mate.. ;)

Tucked up behind dash, under sill protectors (or whatever), tucked under carpet, tucked behind rear side panel, under boot carpet.... voila.

Loads of space.

NB: Power lead for amp should not be ran side by side with speaker wires..

It is the screen wash. Fuel line is underneath i believe!

Yes.... remeber this people, you will get horrible interference when cranking up the volume as the increase in power affects the unshilelded speaker cables!!

The rear Speakers in mine are run behind dash, up drivers side under sill, behind the plastic thingy and out of a hole in the rear.

All my cabling runs under the passenger side carpet, Speakers down one side and power down the other, and goes though those little holes in the raised seat mounts!
