In an attempt to try and improve the club it would be helpful to know what reasons people have got for not joining the Gold Membership Scheme....

It doesn't matter what your reason is we would appreciate your repsonses in order for us to take them on board so we can improve the service provided to the clubs customers, ie you !!

We know there have been a lot of posts on this subject recently but most people here have not given any repsonses which is the only way we can improve the club, please spare just a cuple of moments and let us know what your feelings are and what we can do to help feel that club membership would be beneficial to you.

Most of you have some mods and for those that don't due to warranty i bet you still get the car serviced at a maindealer,don't you all fancy saving some cash?

My reason for not joining is that I am a budget MR2 owner. :(

I don't use main dealer servicing and I don't mod my car.

does the discount apply to any main toyota dealer, or specific ones?? i'm booked in at inchape oxford for a service you see and am quoted £420 if i get my 15% discountr that'll bring it down to £357!!!

Inchcape toyota re not yet on the list but there are other jap specialists very close to the oxford region which service cars and offer a discount :)

But you have been a member for 5 months - don't you feel that you have had £25 worth of value from the forums in that time?

Paying the £25 subscription will help ensure that the forums stay around - this is a busy club, and the subscriptions help keep the club going.

Rather than try an use this thread as a guilt trip/sales pitch etc.... would it be possible to try and keep it as a thread for posting reasons why people are not happy joining gold/ are not happy with paying £25 to join the club....

All reasons are valid and different people have different feelings about the forum and the internet in itself which is part of what we are trying to understand....

any dealer can be approached by the club and all efforts would be made to bring them on board :)

Maybe some more information on the dealer's where the discount is availble and where / what products are discounted might help people join, if I knew I could get a discount at a local dealship or approved specialist in my area I would join :D

P.s. im based in fareham and my local dealerships are WKB Waterlooville and inchape of southampton (i think) ;) )

There's a JPa specialist which also does servicing and specialises in Jap Cars who is already on the list, maybe would be better going there than Mr T anyways :)
