Ok... a bit bored of the MR2 at the moment, could possibly get a swap for a R32 Skyline.

What do you think ?

Isn't the R32 the model that Rocket Ronnie breaks all-comers with at track days..... :bookworm:

You gonna spend a lot of £££ on it if you get it Jimbo?

Could be a real winner matey

If I got it I would plan on playing with it quite alot in time. Engine work etc. Prob not the bodywork as I quite like it. Prob a respray at some point.

Been told they are heavy on tit, & parts are hard to find, could be wrong though.

I'm saying go for the Skyline. I think your bored with the MR2 and have changed it's looks twice.

There is tons you can do to the Skyline so should keep you busy (and skint) for a while.

 aye!! What mods is this thing supposed to have?? As I mentioned your other post there well known for there massive lack of traction, in an R32 that's a pretty mighty call....especially if that is just sacked on lowered springs.

That shiny saucer is indeed the top of a big fat heat sucking pod filter :P

For some REAL LIFE times here is some examples of some Skylines here in NZ:

R32 GTS-t

13.4 in the 1/4

Not sure of the HP

Skyline R33 GTST

Estimated 300hp @ flywheel

Best Quarter 13.9 @ 106mph on public road with Gtech.

210hp at rear wheels

14.2 1/4 at Kwinana motoplex on street tyres set at 24 psi (R33 GTS-T)

R32 gts-t 3 inch exhaust, K&N filter, headlight out, VR4 i/c,

12psi, hoosier dirt tyres 14.2 at 92mph

power? 130-140 rwkw est, compared with similar cars

R33 GTS25-t

13.3 @ 186kms (Gtech)

Mods - i/c, boost, unichip, vg30det turbo, exhaust, and 255's (which are bald).

14.3 1/4 GTS-4 with exaust/filter and a good clutch.

HP? almost stock

I ran a 13.4 at 111 mph. I have a slower 60ft time do to the lag problem. But she pulls harder through second and third. As you can see by the mph. (R32 GTS-T)

Cheers

No offence intended but your talking a rb26dett engine, Its up there with the 2JZGTE for huge power and torque.

Im a big fan of the 3sgte...but you'll never see one of those running 1000bhp, there's no replacement for displacement
