Right because Supra's and MR2's are luxurious and rare exotics....

I'm sure you'd say driving a WRX STI is like a Cavalier as well.

I love Toyota as much as anyone but your impartiality is in serious question here dude

Just so's you up to speed... Dunno if you know or not...

The Cavalier in the UK is not made by Toyota. It's made by Vauxhaul which is part of General Motors who also own Opel and Holden (may need correcting here). Although Holden is a seperate beast altogether and is only available directly in Australia.

Unfortunately there is a certain elemiment of British society they choose this particular car (Cavalier) as prefered transport - it's ugly, handles like a barge and often very underpowered.

what about the R32GTR... better for getting power out of? What about a stock one also ?

Jim..

The GTT (or GTS depending on model) is the 2WD, 2.5 single turbo

The GTR is 4WD with elastic trickery and a 2.6 Twin turbo.

You have to put a lot more money into a GTT to get a similar gain to the GTR - the latter of which is easier to tune..

BUT..

If your going to spend a lot of money (such as on internals etc) then at that level, the cost per performance isnt that different.

IF you can afford it, go for a GTR...

My only concern is that you are "bored" with an Mr2, a car thats know for beign quirky and fun to drive!!!

Many people have gone to skylines after supras/mr2s, etc, and reported back that they are very bland cars to drive.. bland interiors, etc.

One Lady I know got a R33 GT-St to replace her mkiii supra and decided, although the skyline was faster, it was like driving a cavaler, shes thinking of selling it to get another mkiii

Same goes for Evos..

Actually you annoying little tosspot I was refering to being "fun to drive", hence me saying in the first line, "fun to drive".

I don't like scumbarus, I never will. Please stop bringing them up in EVERY thread you can. If you must I suggest you try and spent a lot more time here.

Now then, how did that ignore button work again?

The GTT (or GTS depending on model) is the 2WD, 2.5 single turbo

R32 GTS-T 2.0 single turbo

R33 GTS-25T 2.5 single turbo

R34 G-GT 2.5 single turbo ( ALL the one's I see have GT or GT-T badges on, however searching on the net gives it as G-GT??)

AFAIA GT-S has ALWAYS been the NON turbo versions (along with other stupid ones like GXi & GTE)

The R32 had the GTS-4 with was a 2.0 litre single turbo 4wd (often called a baby Godzilla) but once into the R33's the GTs-4 became NON turbo.

The V35 (11th Gen) seems to be neo equipped (neo as in Nissans v-tec equivilant) and no turbo models.

Cheers

You're telling an American what a Cavalier is?

I know it's not a Toyota, mate. It's a Chevrolet and there are millions of them here and I agree they are total crap. That was my point. You seem to think anything Japanese and sports car like that isn't a Toyota is sh*t.

Sweet, thanks man.

I'll be doing that with you now so I don't have to experience another silly argument with your uninformed a$$.

Bye bye Fidgits.
