93 gt uk and my speedo has just stopped working, will it just be the sensor needs renewing, there isnt anything else that could brake is there?

I'd be surprised if the sensor was broken. It's more likely to be a broken wire where it comes off the sensor, or your delimiter is bust if you have one. It could even be a loose screw on the back of the speedo.
