Performance Crank Pulleys Now In Stock.

Envy Performance Ltd

I am very pleased to introduce a new product to the UK.

The PERRIN Performance™ lightened crank pulley for the Yaris T-Sport is engineered to reduce rotating mass, increasing horsepower and torque.

Made from 6061T6 aluminum and weighing in at 1.3lbs, the pulley is more then 4 lbs lighter then the stock crank pulley. The pulley is not under driven and will not affect the life of your engine. The pulley is a redesigned, lighter rendering of the stock crank pulley.

The pulley achieves power and performance by reducing the rotating mass of the crank assembly.

That reduction is effectively the same as removing 100 pounds of weight from your vehicle. The perrin part will not wear out engine bearings or the oil pump, and will not add any additional vibration or noise.

Everone who has had this part installed has been very happy by the improved responsiveness of the engine.

You will notice in the picture that the pulley has been installed in conjunction with a Power Enterprise Kevlar belt which is a great mod to do at the same time. I currently only have two of the orginal five pulleys imported so be fast! The pulleys are going for £145. Gold Members will get 10% off this price.

Definately a worthwhile and relatively cheap mod.

Driving back down to my place (midlands) from newcastle the first thing I noticed was the way in which the revs built up whilst in fifth to allow me to overtake a line of traffic - much quicker and free-er reving.

Since then its been noticeable easier to rev up to the red line in all gears and generally more responsive ...

For the money this is a quality mod.

Yeah got the manifold on - makes a noticeable difference in both performance and noise - no dyno plots yet though.

Should be heading back to Envy again this week to get the centre section of the exhaust done with the sports cat.

Between this, the relocated induction system and performance pulley Im keen to get the car on a dyno ... will post the results.

Hi Chris, we have the P/E belts in stock to go with the pulleys there £35 off the top of my head.

The first set of prototype coilovers should be here in two weeks to try on my Yaris. :D Once I have put them through their paces I will speak to the factory and hopefully put them into production providing we have no issues. If their are any issues the prototype will have to be tweaked to our satisfaction then sent back to the factory.

Don't think I can make Jap fest at the wekend as I need to get my supra preped for Scooby shoot out on the Sunday. I will see what I can do but I still have a lot of work to do to the Supra to get it ready to run.

I am not sure if the pulley would fit the SR as I don't have one here to try it on. If someone can take a picture of the Crank pulley on the SR and its the same, I can't see why it would'nt work.

Thanks

Kevin

Hello, just wondering how easy it is to fit this part, is it as simple as it looks from the images? You just loosen the belt, undo the bolt, change the crank?

Also as this is a performance mod would it have to be insurance declared, or would it be something they wouldn't even notice if they inspected the car after an accident (heaven forbid)?

Fitting - Ill let Kevin answer.

Insurancewise - I declared it and they didnt raise my premium at all!

Fitting the pulley is a pretty straight forward job, although you will need a ramp and you will have to take the wheel off and arch liner off to get good access into the pulley.

The hardest job about getting the pulley off is the pulley nut which is often seized on. If you have a "windy gun" you will have no problems, or you could use a large breaker bar and give it some.

A competent garage will have no problems fitting the item, although they are somtimes hard to find these days.....

HTH
