Do you sometime ever wonder you might be spending a little too much on your pride and joy?

Have you ever considered the most you would spend on a quality car wax made by, say, Zymol?

How about Vintage Glaze for £1 474.00?

Or...

Royale Glaze for £5 820.00?

I kid you not:

gotta be typo

It was originally formulated to protect the finish of the Bugatti Royale, a rare late 1920's ultra-luxury car (only about half a dozen were built) so meticulously crafted and exquisitely engineered that today it is considered a work of art. Suitable for all paint types and colours. Royale Glaze contains 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume. This container is refilled for life at no charge.

Still..

This started because I decided to look up zymol wax etc. prices. I want to make my car really shine, although not at the prices found.

It is not a typo, the same prices were found on a few websites.

I have changed my mind about really tarting up the car.

p.s. no comments please about polishing a turd :P

dont worry about waxes - thats a final stage product.

a wax also only shows off the surface of the paint - if thats not up to par, then £10 million wax will not help.

what exactly is "wrong" with your car - what do you want to achieve?

without knowing this - I would recommend a standard, solid regime of;

- !Removed! good wash, with a nice strong shampoo.

- a thorough claying with a clay bar

- wash again

- a decent polish (I like Klasse All In One).

only then do you even think about finishing products like wax.

Have a read of the Perfect Shine article in the Car Care Centre
