My Dad's Got A New Motor.

Have been looking for a nice T3 auto for my dad ,and yesterday found one at my local Toyota dealer, its a Black, 2004 1.6 VVT-i auto with all the spec that comes with a the T3, i gave it a good road test and thought what a well built motor :) .

Right question for you Corolla guys, the roof aerial is going to catch on his up an over garage door, its the screw in type, can you buy an after market aerial thats shorter ? cheers in advance :)

Yes you can get shorter after market ones........was trying to post a couple of links to sites but my internet connection was playing up this morning.

Most car/custom car parts places should have them. There was also some on eBay a while back.

Which of course will not matter if it is shorter and does not hit the OP's father's garage door.

We collected the car from the dealer yesterday, and yes ,the aerial will have to be unscrewed as he goes in the garage.

At a guess the aerial must be 300-350mm long so a 100-150mm would do the job fine, but still be a flexible one...am i asking to much.

Second option is to make the garage longer :P :D .
