Built in sat nav costs a bomb, as instead of doing what cheaper systems do, i.e detect your cars direction by which way it is moving, (which is far more sensible) they install sensors throughout the car... It's more than likely the main device will be hiddne in the boot, while the screen will be up front, possibly housing another sensor, either that or a seperate one for your engine bay... Anyway depending on which it is, will mean its either 50 quid install and wiring or 250 lol

Thats looks really cool - but be prepared for a price hike 1-2 days before the end - everyone always bids at the end!

Still, its still gonna end up cheaper than one direct from Toyota isnt it!

The box in top left goes under the passenger seat. dunno wot the one on the right is.

And you may want to find out wot version that is and if you can put the newest DVD based one from pahse 2 in their. Which is best in my opinion. Its got traffic avoidence and you can edit the route. I've got an old system and a new one so I've seen the improvments.

Hello,

I saw this too. Beware that is an old TNS 200, not the newer TNS 300 DVD Version.

TMC does not work with the TNS 200. The latest CDs for the TNS 200 are from 2002/2003. Like this one http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...4549536629&rd=1

The biggest difference is, that the TNS 300 has got Europe on one DVD and the TNS 200 on several CDs (costs!), Germany for an example on 4 CDs!

I bought me a TNS 300 like this one on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...4549646123&rd=1 . But € 759 is too much, despite its new, usually the used one costs € 500 on eBay.
