Where Is The Paint Code

Hi all, I'm new around here, so please don't shout at me if this has been asked before - I tried searching, but to no avail.

Where on my 1997 Toyota Corolla 1.6Si would I find the paint code? There are a number of cryptic numbers on the VIN plate - is one of these the paint code?

I want to get rid of a few (well more than a few) stone chips from the bonnet.

Thanks

Andy

Look at the bottom of the Vin plate, the last two lines should read MODEL NO & TRIM

then next to that engraved on the plate should AE101R~ next to model number ,and the 1st three digits after trim are the paint code

On My VIN Plate, the last two lines are:

AE101R-AGMXKW

205 JZ16-01AC52

Which bit is the paint code?

Andy (Thicky, sorry)

I would love an IS200. There's a nice metallic dark green sport parked in the car park at work everyday. I have to say that I am quite jealous!
