Phase 1 Yaris 1.3 Automatic!

anyone here got a phase 1 cdx/gls 1.3 auto??

just wondering what opinions of the auto gearbox is on the car, as my grandad is thinking about getting one..

cant say bout the auto but my dad has a freetronic which is novel but not a very good gearbox

Not sure about the standard Auto, but the MMT box (successor to the freetronic) is a good addition and performs well

It is a standard 5 speed gearbox with electro hydraulic selectors and gives the option of auto or sequential manual gearshifting.

Great fun and much underated by many who have not really given them a proper test drive.

I sat in Steves Yaris and watched him play with his gearstick (oo-errr!) and its a really cool piece of kit!

okay, soooo...anyone had any experience with the auto box then? LOL

as for the MMT, do these only come on phase 2 yaris?? got any more info on them? cheers!
