cant say about na's but the kakimoto exhaust on my turbo is deep and burbly but not loud at all. has a glorious tone at about 3k revs and if you floor it from about 4k upwards it howls like a mo fo. but once you lift off and drive sensibly it quietens down again :)

I had a Kakimoto, it looked pretty tidy with a 5" tailpipe. It sounded okay but wasn't very loud or deep really. Got a powerflow twin oval exhaust now which sounds much beefier I think. Didn't notice any performance difference between the two.

Just wondering where you can get the kakimoto exhausts from and about what price?

kakimoto exhausts are very rare over here mate, especially for na's.

if you are lucky to find one here then about £200ish, if not then a used one from japan for £350 or a new one for about £500-£600

I Had a kackimoto on mine for a short while and it sounded fu*king ace, It was louder than I thought and seemed to get louder every time I used it. It wasn't til I came to service it I realised I had blown a hole the sixe of my fist in to the top of the silencer!!! - other than that it was spot on....

I now have a toms racing exhaust which is nice but not loud enough for me.... now i'm sad!

Matt.

I say get one im very happy with it.

Are we talking about the same brand here? Lol. My Kakimoto was very quiet, just gave a slight raspy sound at 3-4000rpm, it never seemed to get that loud.

My Kakimoto was pony, too quiet, too restrictive and didn't like the big back box and single exit.

Now got a H&S and it's the dogs ..
