Afternoon All, :help:

I want to remove my front bumper from my 1991 uk N/A MR2. Can anyone guide me through this? ie; where all the bolts/screws/nuts etc are?

HOw long will this take and is it easy to put back on?

Thanks in advance

First of all ..

Get set for a VERY long winded removal process!hehe

I ended up physically ripping mine off at last years JAE (I'm sure some of you will remember!) ..

Is it a Jap or Uk car?

It is a pain of a job, however there is a write up on IMOC

the pain in the back bits to do are:

1. Removing the 2 fender bolts, the top ones are very tricky to get to. I highly suggest removing the headlights completly - frees up so much space

2. The numerous studs near the radiator..if you have foglights you will NOT be able to get 4 of these studs out no matter how hard you try! You will have to shear them off with a flat blade screwdriver and hammer. The rest can be pulled out easily

All the other bolts (theres lots!) come out quite easily

Cheers Guys - Any links to show how it's done?

We were half drunk/hung over tho!

It is a big job IMO, cut my hands on all sorts of plastic/metal, Russ ended up doing it for us.

God I felt sick that morning.

lol yeah i lost countless bolts the first time too . First time took a good 3-4 hours. Now I can take it off in less than half an hour (probably cos half the bolts are missing)
