The exterior is okay - but the interior one sucks..

Personally, for £300 you could get 3 years worth of the best detailing products from McNallys site and still have enough left over for a nice meal...

I found Listers to be extremely pushy too..... especially their finance guy when I told him I wasn't taking out Toyota Finance!

Thats one of the main reasons I didn't go back for my 2nd Yaris! They put me off!

The main problem with the supagard is that you cant wash your car for 7days after treatment!

We had ours done for free and didnt notice it was done so i wouldnt bother!

OK, the point of it...

First of all, it's a full treatment inside and out. Interior basically gets a similar treatment to Scotchguard and it does work as I found out when I put a wet brolly in the boot and the water beaded on the carpet instead of soaking in. I hope it does the same with coffee and coke! To be honest though, they should do that to all cars as standard in my opinion.

Outside, the treatment makes it easier to release dirt. My car looks like it's been washed after it rains!

You also get key insurance as part of the deal which means that registered keys (car or home) are covered. If your keys are lost or stolen, they will replace your house locks (or car). A locksmith will also get you back in!

You have the treatment done by them so nothing for you to do (except fork up with the cash!). You do get an aftercare valetting kit. I've not used much of it so far but the alloys cleaner mousse is brill!

Oh and I knocked my Mr T down to £250 and it lasts 3 years not months.

I think its brillant stuff, My paintwork seems to keep the shine for a lot longer, its alot easier to wash, and it seems to stay cleaner alot longer,

Very useful in the summer, last week the bugs seemed to slide off without any effort

I'm a little confused.

What is it you've bought off eBay? The whole system is a lot of different treatments and comes with a guarantee. The valet kit is not the whole deal, for instance, just part of it.

Have you seen this by the way?

Yes, spot on! I'm still at that "Oh, no, not a stone chip!" stage with my new car and I find a finger rubbed on the offending mark is enough to remove it. OK, one day it will be a stone chip. :fear:

Carplan's Wonder Glaze for £8.99 in your local Halfrauds is the same thing that lasts for one year. The bottle lasts for about 5 years. Autoglym Interior Cleaner for about £10 does the same thing on the inside.

For the outside, just wash it, meguires it and wonder glaze it. Everytime it rains or i wash my car.... instant shine. Even when it's dirty, it looks cleaner than other cars. The paint on Yarii is pretty poor to be honest.... very thin, so nothing is going to stop stonechips really, so in my opinion it would be £300 down the swanny.
