Avensis Grill Swap

Hi ,just a quick post to see if any body can help .i have a 2000 model avensis se, the one with the Badge on the bonnet. i have obtained a sr grill from a 2001 model ,i was wondering will the grill fit if obtain a new grill surround from a 2001 car,i know they are different i think the grill is slightly larger on the later car . any help would be welcome

hi there

if your car is a 2000 vvti the grill should pop in no problem if its pre vvti the grill will not fit as the vvti grill suround is moulded in with the bumper as a single unit

Hi thanks for the info .I managed to get hold of a pre face lift sr grill so i now have a sr sport avensis grill for the may 2000 onwards vvti avensis with two different types of mesh for sale. Any body willing to make me an offer get in touch. Some photos of the grill are posted here My Webpage
