Seals

does anyone know of anywhere that specialises in seals for cars, like window seals etc. i only ask because i could do with a new boot seal, and a rear windscreen seal but they're not bad enough to justify whatever ridiculous price toyota would charge.

They do different types of seals in different lengths for Classic, Vintage and Kit cars (along with lots of other parts).

You may find other 'Classic Car' parts suppliers might be cheaper, it's just that Holden do a good range which is why I mention them.

They do general parts/items (such as weather seals) for all classic cars and specialise in old 'Side valve Fords' .

As per Holden I have used these guys aswell (for bits for a '42 Willys Jeep) and well pleased.

Bit of advice,if you do ring them up to purchase something, before you buy anything please make sure that the item is in stock (because sometimes they will send you an invoice with 'Part to follow' which if desperate for the item can be a little annoying, which did happen to me with 'Holden' Once).

These guys are really Vintage/pre war cars only but do have seals. However make sure seals are rubber as a lot of prewar cars had 'Furflex'/material type seals.

Having said that, it actually comes with all the breather pipes as well, which i didn't think it did, but it's still dear :D)
