Looks okay I suppose but I don't think a Yaris really needs a bodykit unless its subtle!

the top one looks like the standard top bumper/TTE bottom half in one like i have, from the pic it looks o.k, i`ve seen them like this as in not painted or not on a car before so it hard to be 100% to know what there like

Its the same as the K19 kit by ibherdesign. Search for k19 and im sure you'll find more pics

EDIT: Ebay link

guess it is the same, looks better white than it does on the blue car

Can anyone tell me.....

As TTE is pretty much toyota..

And you buy them from toyota dealers...

Does that mean that its not classed as modification?

What would it mean in the eyes of the insurer????

(Consider i'm insuring my car soon, could i fit one, and on insuring it i wouldnt technically be changing it, and its all toyota parts anyway??..)

I know i dont make sense but i think you know what i mean...

Help?

BTW Yaris suit subtle things!!!

Subtle lil car in chilli red!!!

Nice try, but that sort of reasoning won't work with an insurance company. A modification is a modification no matter who it's make by. My Toyota alloy wheels are classed as a modification despite the fact that they are the same size as the standard wheels and use the same tyres. My TTE springs are a modification despite the fact that you can have them fitted by Mr. T before you even collect the car in the first place.

Remember: Modiffications are a way for insurance companies to charge you more money when you tell them and to declare your cover null and void if you don't. Catch-22...

Personally, I cough up because I know that that's less painful than finding yourself suddenly without insurance just when you need it

A

I can recommend Adrian Flux for having real people who actually have a vague idea what a car is!

Agree completely.

Very few cars look better with a body kit really, unless it's subtle and doesn't detract too much from the stock identity of the car.

Honestly I think they are a waste of money. They decrease the value of your car and do nothing for performance and most look tacky.

All cars have bodykits, or else they'd look like an Ariel Atom! Why bother sticking wings and flappy bits on?? If you bought the car, you obviously liked it's design... why ruin it with plastic sh*te. Just my opinions though! Most are useless and irrelevant!

I'm not going to stick a huge bodykit on my car, (which I got the impression you lot thought I was going to do) I just fount the kit and was wondering what people thought of it, and at the time I didn't realise it was the K19.

I've been looking around to see what's available, I'll either decide on the TTE front and sides, and veilside rear or the full veilside kit as it's not OTT. These are subtle compared to some kits. Or maybe wait as I believe there is a booster kit coming out for the phase 2.

I've also had a few pics sent from tune a car, the c-one body kit, I think the front looks hideous.

Yeah, that looks very nasty. The wheels don't go at all... the rest of the car trys to look mean and aggresive and sporty, then the wheels don't fit at all. That kind of thing isn't good for the little Yaris!

Agree completely. That looks stupid.

Especially a wing on the rear of a high roofed hatchback. Looks retarded.

Lee, you cursed it by taking it to that mcdonalds car park. That's where all the chav's hang out in their 106's and Saxo's every night.
