Ok..end of the summer I am doing a big change...been offered a R34 Skyline with 658 BHP...or I want to go o a GT4 or MR2 turbo...my heart wants GT4 or MR2(what I wanted to begin with)..butttttt the R34 is pure filth..need help peeps

Tis still a very good car but as said drive all 3 and see what gives you the biggest grin ;)

A little known snippet is i had a R33 GTR last year and i loved it but was made an offer for it i couldn't refuse as i made just short of 4k on the deal :D

tbh it all depends on what you want the car for, GT4 and MR2 for drivability, personally prefer the GT4 but i've still to get a shot of my mates MR2.

the skyline would just be for posing and straight lines, RWD and that sort of power kind of limits you on B road blasts

GT-4 all the way. Have a look here and see what can be achieved for not a lot of money. 420 BHP GEN5 GT-4

And it`s all usable, even on the twisties.

:P thanks for the replies, as I say though itll be winter when I finally decide and sell/buy. Gonna be hard to decide I go for looks same as what Asha says....but power grrrrrrrr :)

my friends have gtr32,33,34 one has spent £48,000 i belive on the gtr34 an its 700bhp which has 0-60 of 3sec top speed of 190+mph.

GTR is god if you listen to the mags, and have the money, they are easy to work on.

Buy a diff and a gearbox in adavance, both my friends have had problems with broken diff and broken gearbox. GTR dnt look good on the back of an AA truck.

i like the idea of a two peice body kit on mr2 for the looks

i like the sound of a space framed GT4 for strip or Rally style of off road

GTR34 if all you want is to use it on the road to show your friends with great looks and sound as well as speed, if you got alot of money to fix it when things go wrong.

Myself ive got bored of Supras. my Supra was ok doing just over 160 and thats not that fast anymore and bores me. i tried drifting but where can we go to drift at 70 as any slower is boring.

So i want now to get a Rally style GT4, so i can use off road and on the strip.

So i say GT4 lot of car for little money.

If you want speed go for a 9lt big block. good for 0-60 in 1. odd seconds.

There are other cars but you gave us a choice of 3 :)

If you're after a daily driver, I would stay away from a skyline that heavily modded. For such a high peak hp it must be rather compromised on midrange. Probably has a huge turbo that won't come online until 4.5k. It will likely be a pig around town, and lethal if it suddenly comes on boost mid corner. Not to mention fuel consumption... :o
