I'd been looking for an English manual for my GT-R 4ws as I have all the docs but in Japanese. Found a company on the net who can provide English copies of the manuals for 89-93 and 93-99 Japanese Celicas.

Ive ordered one, so I'll let you know how good the translation is when I receive it. (Main reason for buying one is theres one button on the left of the steering column that I still don't know what it does).

They also stock: Speedo faces, Radio band expanders and fuel neck adapters if anyone needs them for their imports.

Link below,

Steve.

hi

i've just bought a rather tatty 1990 gtr-4ws and i'd be interested in knowing if the manuals are ok and how much?in the meantime i've got a small rectangular red button on the console next to the auto gear lever--do you know what this is for?if you do know i'd appreciate the input

Re red button - I was told the red button beside auto lever on my Celica Cabriolet was to disconnect the transmission so the car could be towed without damaging the auto transmission - usually autos have to be towed with the driving wheels lifted off the road.

Hope this helps,

Got an English handbook for an MR2 Turbo from the States. Everything in there you need (though pictures wrong due to left hand drive etc.). So if you need one try the USA :).

The red button next to the auto shift is so that you can move the shifter when the engine is not running and the keys are out , it has nothing to do with disconnecting the drive to the wheels when towing .
