just brought myself a boost gauge, grainger valve and fuel cut defender. b ut from what i understand you can't turn the boost up without some modding.

i've got an air filter on and i've knocked the cat through on the standard pipe, would i be ok turn the boost upto 1 bar?

Agree'd......up to basicly 15 psi max. I'd still look at freeing up that exhaust & doing an intake of some sort though.

I mean air filter....but IMO a pod in place of the OEM box isn't really very good. You need to sheild it OR box it up so it isn't sucking in hot engine air. In time a aftermarket downpipe & full exhaust from there back would be much better. IF you don't be silly nd hard out boost around on 15psi all the time in the stinking hot weather etc you will ok as you are now but those 2 things would make a pretty big difference :)
