Air Conditioning

Had my T3 for three weeks now, well pleased with it. Two little niggles though.....on the centre armrest there is a small cubby hole right at the front which is a bit loose and works its way open sometimes. Also if I turn the front window demist on from the steering wheel it works fine.....but when I turn it off the air conditioning comes on !......has anyone else noticed this...and is it meant to happen ? (averageing 57mpg )

The air con de-humidifies the air so clears the screen quicker.

I have my climate control on auto all the time so the air con may be on or off....it just keeps the car at the right temperature.

The air con doesn't have a real adverse effect on MPG. The heater has more effect as it has to keep the engine runnning to produce heat. MPG always goes down in winter
