New Model Avensis Modifications

I am thinking of bringing my avensis down 30mm and adding 17" alloys. Unfortunately in this country we get 16" alloys as standard on the 1.8 model with climate, etc.......

Does anyone have pictures of the new model avensis modded in this manner.

Also, the choice of rear boot spoiler for the saloon is not great. A so called elegant spoiler which you would hardly notice or a new design by TRD which takes over half the boot and in my opinion is pig ugly.

Any sugestions here would also be appreciated.

I think the standard here is 15"...certainly my CDX has 195 60 15s on. No idea on pics tho, sorry.

In Ireland anyway the standard wheel on origional model was 14" steel and higher spec versions with 15". Then all facelift models came with either 15" steel or 15" alloy depending on spec. The new model now comes with 16" steel or 16" alloy but the top of the range here (leather, sat nav) has 17" alloy.

As far as I can make out the T3's in UK come with 17" (not sure here) so was just wondering if anyone has taken suspension down by 30mm. Actually have since found out that the Toyota standard TTE springs will take it down 25mm.

Then on my way into work this morning I saw a new model with 17" wide 5 spoke alloys and suspension lowered, it looked good. I think I'll go for it.

T3's here come with 16" alloys, only the T4 and spirit have 17's
