Granvia Tow Bar/cam Belt

LATE 1995 GRANVIA

i am new to this so bear with me, i have just fitted a tow bar to my granvia, bought it from towsure in sheffield, you must state that you need a tow bar for a hiace power van late 1995 as there are 2 types of tow bars, the earlier cheaper one will not fit, ive tried it its fairly easy to fit but you have to drill 2 pre countersunk holes, ITS NOT DIFFICULT, the difficult bit is shoving the exhaust over to one side as it rubs against the tow bar, i bent the exhaust bracket ON THE EXHAUST and swung on the tail pipe to bend it, crude but works, then re hang exhaust re using tail pipe rubber,

I HAVE ALSO FITTED A CAM BELT,,,,, VERY EASY TO DO, remove any pannels in your way, expose the cam belt, by removing the cover,mark up all pulleys so if you move them you know where they go, remove the hydrolic adjuster,yes just unbolt it, remove old belt carefully as to not move any pulleys, re fit new belt supplied by your local toyota agent of the shelf, the hydrolic adjuster, place this in a vice

to compress the piston, you will see 2 holes line up, put a pin in to hold the piston back, fit the adjuster, remove the pin, re fit all the bits you removed,job done, if you happen to move any cams, i cannot help you out,,,,for any further info contact me on
