Too late for me, a camera would of stopped a cracked spare wheel cover and I knew there was a speed camera there but I did not know it was turned on!(If I was a Copper, I would not be paying £60!)

Take a look at Reversing Camera

These guys also do a adaptor so you can watch dvd's from your unit.

Yes it's possible to fit the camera as i have done it.

You need

1. Camera

2. about 2 hours of spare time.

Fit the camera where req, mines below the spare wheel.

Black to earth from the camera.

Red to your + on the reverse light.

Main camera lead needs to be separated.

Inner core wire, Positive to rear of sat nav (white four in plug) pin 1, looking at rear top right pin.

Outer core to pin 3 (lower right).

You must ensure the sat nav has reverse signal wire connected. white 3 wire plug next to arieal socket.

Heh presto, select reverse camera comes on.

hope this helps.

With regards to adding POI's for speed camera's etc yes it can be done, I add POI's for friends and family address's just simply tap the screen where a camera is and mark then you can select your own personal icon ( don't think there are any speed camera icons though) also on the subject of reversing camera's you might like to look through some previous threads of mine on TOC.

I have just received a reversing camera from HK.

Any tips on positioning and cable routing would be appreciated.

I have followed the recent links and have got the connections worked out OK.

There are plenty of site's on the net which allows you to see where camera's are located, as it looks like your in Hampshire it would probably be best to start with this siteSpeed camera locations Hants :bookworm:

Yes it is a stupid thing to suggest. The Toyota satnav system is one of the best but does suffer from the problem that you cannot input, i.e. via an sd card, additional points of Information in addition to it's own supplied database.

Before I had the stanav I had a pda system and it was at times much better, especially with a young grandchild, to do a search for a Brewsters restaurant with playbarn.

No you can't input from an SD card but you certainly can add POI's and set your prefered Icon to each of them, like friends or families address's I've used the house icon etc etc
