Some very good photos.

That looks exactly like a frends GT used to look like (12 years ago) his was metalic black. The Metalic black version was actually a limited edition in Great Britain.

Your wheels look to be in superb condition, stainless exhaust looks good to.

I like the T-VIS Badge on the boot (was that standard in your country?) and the number plate 'Barely Strreet Legal' ...very good.

Your engine bay I see you have started to clean up/detail.

What happened to your bonnet?

Looks like in your part of the world that rust is not going to be so much of a problem as our damp climate.

Well done

This is the only model that we actually get here in the states and no other year, this sucked because I really liked the AE92 model which is much rounder. The black AE92 was the rarest of its colors. As for the TVIS Badge its wasnt standard, it was off of the 89 celica throttle body which also ran TVIS. Yes rust is a problem on this car, but by the end of the year I should be done with restoring the body and paint and hopefully cleaning up all the rust.

As for the car and parts in the states, these cars are now very rare to come by especially the GT-S (GT) model. A couple of the junk yards here where I live had 3 or 4 of the GT-S (GT) and 5-6 regular carb models. These cars come and goes at the junk yard, but the GT-S are hard to come by.

As for the induction set up, its a custom short ram with a cone filter, i had my custom cold air on but took it off. It seemed like the short ram gave me better top end then the cold air, im thinking its due to the AFM box and the pipe running next to the radiator hose causing high heat. Planning on puting the cold air back on to take pic along with interior pics.

Im planning on working on a motor setup for this car during my summer break, hope to find the blocks that im looking for.
