De-cat On A Glanza...

does any1 know about de-catting a glanza as i have heard they can cause problems if the pipe is not an exact size? cause it to run lean maybor not enuf back pressure?? ne help wud b gd.

you dont necessarily need a fcd. just depends how good your actuator is.

i'm not sure if my glanza is decatted or not decatted, just want to see what the cat looks like on the glanza and where its located.

it would be after the downpipe from the manifold, usually just after the front axles...just look underneath, if you see any " box " kinda thing anywhere near the front its most likely the cat

You'll find the cat coming straight off the turbo mate. If its a decat itll prob just be a round pipe, if its still catted, itll prob be a kinda flattened out tube (If that makes sense?!). Some people gut the cat by smashing the **** out of the insides to make a cheap decat, but this isnt a good way of doing things as the pipe can still be restrictive

Thanks man, its decatted but never knew until now. but i'm sure that i still have a original back box, whys that? i bought my car of a garage in december 04'. Do you think that he might have took it off for himself?
