1981 Starlet, Value Of It?

<_< I am interested in buying a 1981 Starlet 5spd that is for sale near me. Its paint is faded VERY bad, but no rust, and has some damage on front fender behind turn signal, no other major body problems, has over 100k on the odo, and the interior has basically gone to ****. The AC still works and the radio is dead. But the body is basically fine, minus pounding out the fender and new paint job. I want it to convert the engine to a faster toyota one, not sure on choices yet, or to the 13b from the FD3S, the 93+ RX7 motor and do a single turbo. I want it to be an extremly fast sleeper and seems like a good base, seeing as the body is relativally damage free. Now heres the thing, the guy wants 900 for it, which seems like a whole lot for it. What would the rest of you guys suggest as it's worth. He says he bought it for 1200, but my question is WHEN? 1985? Also, where can I find exactly whats needed for the 13B conversion, I mean every step, IE tubing rear, motor mounts, tranny work/diff swap etc? Thanks in advance for the help guys. BTW the color is like a blueish purple, as best I can tell through the faded arss matte color of it, the paint is like powder, it rubs off on your fingers.
