Meet point 1

Blyth Services, A1 at 12.30pm for a 1pm setoff

Meet point 2

Grantham North Services, A1 at 1.30pm. Setoff will be as the first convoy passes 1 car will come into collect you all and you will catch up to the convoy as and when that happens but don't worry as the main convoy will slow to 50mph to allow you to do so without you having to break the speed limit ;)

So if you can just copy and paste your name's into the list i can see who to look out for

First one is just south of Doncaster which is South Yorkshire and the Scottish lads will have to come the A1 to get to the East of England Showground so you would be best to meet up with this convoy but nothing stopping you picking up on the way as long as you make the main convoy time as it cannot wait due to an arrival at the showground at 3pm

I will be leaving from Flamingo land.. Pickering area.. where and at what time should i be where?.. i don't have a clue as to what service station is what in that area of the country.

IF i am close enough to a pickup point.. i could easily find it in time if i knew where it was  ... i won't be hard to find.. wee yaris with a roofbox that looks bigger than the car on top of it. Wouldn't mind joining the convoy.. sounds like fun rubberducker

Just looked at a map.. is Grantham, south of Newark i would be looking at meeting up? and i take it the services will be on the A1.

Should take me around 2 hours (maybe?) to get there from Pickering... anyone else leaving from the same area as me?

I've posted maps for everyone above  It's not spot on where the red circle is but you can see the (S) indicating services.

I used Autoroute.. looks straightforward enough.. unless there is 2 Grantham's lol.. will set off from Flamingoland between 9 - 10:00am.. should get to the services and still have time to get some lunch (i hope).

EDIT.. if anyone needs directions.. pm me your leaving point and arriving point.. and i'll do my best and pm turn by turn directions back to you.

Directions will supplied by Autoroute.. i take no responsibilty if they are wrong

IF there is a meeting point at FERRY BRIDGE i think it would need to be at around 11:30am which would give people an hour to get to Blyth(as far as i know it's about a half hour drive?) , arriving at blyth at 12:00 - 12:30 leaving Blyth with the convoy at 1:00pm.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Ryan mate.. if you lot head off from Glasgow, you will need to give yourselves around 4 hours to get to Ferry Bridge.. this is going by the M74 to Penrith then heading accross the A66 to scotch Corner and then down the A1.. this is the quickest way to go as there are more speed restrictions on the A1 from Edinburgh (some as low as 40mph).

So to meet the Ferry Bridge meet (if there is one) at 11:30am you would need to set off at 7:30am.. so i would suggest a meeting place in Glasgow at around 6:30am - 7:00 am to allow half an hour for sleepy heids. (leaving at 6:30 - 7:00am will give you an half an hour to an hour of leeway.

OK people..meet at Ferry Bridge at 11:30am to leave at 11:45am.. this would give us three quarters of an hour to drive to Blyth (half hour drive or so) for 12:30pm.. leaving Blyth at 1:00pm with the rest of the convoy. This would give people the oppertunity for a rest stop at Blyth before setting off again.

Rendevous point

FERRY BRIDGE.. 11:30am setting off at 11:45am
