Hi - having problems with a 2003 RAV4. Recently had problems with the alarm system, and that's due to have the siren replaced very shortly - the siren has been disconnected in the meantime, but we're now having a high pitched continuous beep when in reverse - not the normal intermittent bleep - but continuous. Any idea's?

Cheers

might be dirty rear parking sensors (our's is the same when reverse is selected) or faulty sensors, try cleaning them 1st if that fails then a trip to the dealer may be in order.

clean the car - what's that about - it's meant to be a 4x4 isn't it, and besides the wife will get used to it!!!

Thanks - i'll give it a go - they are looking a bit dirty come to think of it.

Thanks again for the reply.

Mike
