Interior Colours

Hi All,

A bit of a weird question.. but how many different interior colours are there? The reason I ask is that I'm looking at getting a cd unit for my yaris off eBay. It says that they have either black or very dark grey colours available.

I have a 2002 yaris gs (phase 1) and I think its coloured quite light grey and obviously I don't want to get the unit if its going to be not an exact match and look very stupid. So, what i'm getting at is are there two shades of grey interiors (light and dark) or is it just one grey.

I know that might not make sense and might sound pretty stupid but it costs about £150 and I'm being a bit overly-cautious/pedantic!

Thanks for your help

Lewis (feeling very stupid)

I'm sure a black one wouldnt look that out of place.... Assumedly you've got a different gear knob, and if that were black, youd have a bit of theme going..

Might just be me but i find shads of grey to black to create a subtle tone effect...

I think the diff colour might be for diff years/models though, so may not fit..

I'm busily changing lil bits and bobs to try n break the mass of grey as it is..

Youll want the grey one to make it fit properly.

the phase 2 is black and they are kind of difference in the repect of how it fits with the top centre dash

Heya,

In regards to the phase 1/phase 2 issue, do you think this is meant for phase 2 cars only?:

Ebay CD Player

It says the car has to have square buttons but i'm pretty sure mine has slightly rounded ones

Thanks,

Lewis

Apart from the colour - what does it matter about square or rounded buttons though - surely all buttons do the same thing??

Em i have a feeling it won't fit a Phase 1. When i went to Mr T to get my surround, i remember someone saying that they had been given the Phase 2 one by accident and it didnt fit the Phase 1 dash!

Just a thought! (And i love my rounded buttons :P )

Fair dos Wob (got it right this time! ) I didnt think they were that different shape wise but perhaps they are then.

Although I'd love a mix of round and square buttons myself!
