Hiya chaps.

I bust my MR2 cherry two weeks ago after years of thinking 1.9 205's and meastro turbos were the dogs luv spuds.I brought a '91 GT-T bar from a local, turned out to be a complete muppet where cars are concerned.Bits missing for no apparent reason.i.e near side inner plastic wing, front fogs removed and wire just cut and left flapping about.Rusty water for coolant, with hardly any trace of antifreeze, fuel tank guards missing etc......etc......etc.Still i got the car for a bargain with good intentions of getting back to tip top.But back to the thread title. The car is fitted with a 3s-gte engine, but with 5s-fe efi system.I,m pretty sure this is how it left the factory. The question is ,any of you guys got the same set up?It needs a good tune up,but of course the Toyota service manual has procedures ***** about face. Thanks for looking.

Oh and does any one know of a breakers in the midlands where i might get said missing parts from,so far i,ve drawn a blank.

Hi, welcome

I cant answer your main question but some one will be able to i'm sure.

But for the parts you require try

www.roguesystems.co.uk

They are MR2 specialists based in Kenilworth.

They are always breaking cars.
