Hi,

Mines a T3-s Auto. Ive had water in the headlights and drivers electric window switch stop working without holding switch up or down. No brake judder yet at 15000 miles. Average fuel consumption is 30-35mpg around town, and I have had 45mpg at 70-80mph over a 300 mile trip.Dont watch the onboard computer it lies. The only way is to fill up, zero mileage, drive, fill up again and convert how many litres put in to gallons and how many miles covered.

I have done 3000 miles and not used a drop of oil since I broght it.

If you have TNS300 DVD sat system a new 2004-2005 disc v2 is approx £226.00, but you can download it off the internet :arrgg-matey: (e-mule)and burn it to a dual layer disc easy enough. Mine works fine in the car and I use it every day.

Hope this helps,

Nick.............

Hi,

Servicing every 10k or 12months, I am due a 24 month service september. I was quoted £160 all in with forte flush. Because I am in the trade and actually tutor the apprentices whom all the garages in the area have, and I could service the vehicle myself at the college and argue about premature failure of any warranty items later, agreed to pay £100 all in and I would supply the forte flush and put it in before they dropped the oil. At least then I know its been done. All the service consists of is checking air filter, changing oil and filter, checking brakes, steering, suspension, the usual and carrying out a safety check so they can try anfd sell you tyres and wiper blades(been there)No pollen filter(£20.00+vat).No spark plugs till 40k (£16.00 +vat EACH Iridium TIPPED PLUGS). No fuel filter ,not specified when its changed . Valve clearance checked at 60k. 20k, 24 month service brake fluid change at extra cost!

20k 24month service 1.70 hrs + oil £25.00+ vat, oil filter £7.00+vat and flush £10.00+ vat ( parts total 42.00+ vat) So £50.00 inc vat labour with £110.00 inc vat labour (@£55+ vat per hour)= £160.00, they are laughing all the way to the bank.

Hope this helps, if it doesnt, well it does open the eyes a little to the hard done by motor trade!

Oh and the icing on the cake is you will probably get an apprentice who is payed minimum wage whilst on his apprenticeship service your car instead of the expensive qualified toyota trained technicians you expected for £55.00+vat an hour.

Cheers,

Nick...........
