Where Does The Membership Money Go?

Most of you probably know the answer to this question, but i was just wondering that the people who pay £25 to be a gold member, where does that money go towards? i dont mean to be rude. :D

Was just wondering this cuz i saw my bro on the vauxhall forums, and their forum is totally wicked - they've even got loads of room to upload pics str8 into their forums! sorry if i've offended anyone, i honestly didnt mean to! :!Removed!:

It must go to the people who maintain it.....?????? and to pay for the server costs. Whoever made it has done a good job in my opinion. Its nice to look at, easy to use, got lots of goodies and is much better than some forums i've seen.

We pay our £25 but its well worth it being a Goldmember, if only to support the club!

Plus you do get added benefits too! We get cool Goldmember stuff!

no earns anything from TOC its all non profit based, the money goes towards club stands, paying for web hosting, you get loadsa space to upload pics as a gold member, the discount savings are huge too ive saved about 100 quid in 1 year, and i only became a gold member for the supporting the club i hadnt got the intention of needing to use all the discounts, but theres so many its hard not to

ooh and you get windows tickers for your car when u sign up,

i mean everyone shud be a goldmember you even get discount on non car related things, and discount at selected toyota dealers for servicing

its one thing i dont regret

yeah i can see what you all mean. stupid of me really not to realise the effort that goes into this forum. in no way was i trying to slate this forum or knock it, i was just curious. im defo gonna be a gold member sometime in the next couple of weeks.

The monies raised through the membership goes towards maintaining an active, interesting, up-to-date, reliable, user-friendly, helpful & informative and much more site(s).

In GOLD you benefit from gaining access to another un-moderated forum where pretty much anything goes within reason - No NOVA talk for example

You are allowed the right to SELL items using the forums.

Yes you receive some Nice TOC stickers for your car.

You have access to the worldwide discounts that are on offer and many goldies save hundreds of pounds a year or more by uising these discounts - and they are not just car-related discounts either.............

Non of this money pays staff... its all done for free unless a member of staff has to pay out of his/her pocket.

Not alot of people realise the amount of money a club consumes.. especially a club of this size.

After 3 years the club is breaking even and now paying for itself. This is good as we can finally do more with the club and make it even better than what it is.
