I've just been given a price of over £300 for a parking sensor by a Toyota dealer. Seems very expensive!

Anyone got one of the Toyota fitted sensors? Are they good value?

Anyone got another type of parking sensor - good or bad?

you can buy aftermarket ones cheap enough, infact i have a 4 sensor kit which i wont be using. If youre interested, drop me an email at kevshek@blueyonder.co.uk and ill chat to you about it there.

I bought a 2 sensor kit from Makro's for £15

Works fine

Easy enough to fit, whack the sensors on the tailgate, tap into the reversing lamp bulb,run the wires up to the dash and plug into your unit. Mine has certain beeps that get progressivly closer the nearer you get to an object. Also has a visual display.

Job done

You can buy them on eBay.
