No and I missing out EARPL? :P

But like most of the people here, I find EM contributes a lot in her own way and she is always one of the first to make someone feel welcome  . I find we all contribute in our own way so as a whole so we can cover the vast majority of peoples probloms

Right lets's get this back on track.

What do expect to achieve by installing a MoTeC ECU?

Considering that your Yaris has a 1300cc normally aspirated you would be spending a lot of money for very little reward. It's not the cost of the equipment itself (though that's bad enough) you will then have to get it installed and mapped by someone who knows what they are doing. Get the mapping wrong and you end up with a broken engine.

true the only reason i can for putting a MoTeC system is if you have fitted a Turbo/Charger, if its only on a N/A with no engine mods i can`t see the point never mind the cost and time factor involved. what are your reason for trying to fit it?

The Motec ECU is one of the best, but comes at a high price. I would have thought that it may be overkill on the 1300cc Yaris, but I guess it all depends on your final goals.

As "ae111sr" said expect to pay a pretty penny to get it installed and setup correctly by a specialist (£100 an hour springs to mind)

I got a quote once. Something like £350 initial cost and then £100 per hour (expected 4-5hrs work).
