We got chatting to a guy at a petrol station today and before we knew it we had both bagged ourselves some new wheels.

Ed now has an import st185 which he picked up for £400!

I have a uk mk1 mr2 which i paid a mere £100 for!

Life is good :D

Typical little bubbles of rust in the arches etc, but jacked the car up and floor looks fine.

Im thinking Silver is a rare colour for a mk1 is that right? Dont remember seeing many in this colour.

The interior is wonderful dude. Seats are spotless and rest of the cockpit is clean. The whole car just needs a wash/hoover really.

This is going to be a great little run around while im having the supra worked on at millway. And i hear these things do 45mpg? :D

No need to laugh at us with only 122bhp... The car has a kerb weight of only 1051kg Which gives the little MR2 a spec of 116bhp/ton - which is not bad by any margin.

It also handles twisties much better than a MKIV Soop - prooven at Bruntingthorpe B)

Ed, I know "other Ed" has a 3S-GTE spare... but I have a feeling he might be fitting it in my old Gray mk2 mr2...

I am on talking terms with him again, I can ask for you if you want??
