Ed And Me Both Have New Cars!

Blimey...what a day yesterday

Got to to guys house near Salisbury about lunch time and started to get the mr2 roadworthy.

I topped up the oil a little too much :D (ok 3 times what it should have been) - Thanks again Ed for getting underneath and draining it off for me

Drove the MR2 home with ed following in his st202. Drives very well and pulls good :)

Best of all IT DOESNT HAVE THE POPPING OUT OF 5TH PROBLEM!! :D :D

I dunno how but i managed to drive it the 40miles home on only £1.70 (half can) of petrol (must have had a little in there anyway or maybe the fuel guage isnt that accurate)

It was all going so well ...

Then we went back to get Ed's ST185. We decided to drive it back just the same as we did ok with the mr2....

But once we reached Andover the engine decided to give up the ghost

So a quick call to the RAC and playing up the fact that the engine is dead and we are both mechanically minded (hence just send up a damn flatbed lorry) - we were on our way again.

Problem is the lorrys are limited to 60mph so took aaaaaaaages to get home

But at least now both cars are home

I can tell once that GT4 is cleaned up and a new engine swapped in its going to be one fantastic motor ;)
